Dandelion Souls and Fairy Wishes

Hello There! Today I want to share this Art Journal layout I created for Yvonne Blair Designs! Her beautiful stamps add such an amazing touch to any project and I absolutely love using them in my Art Journals!
For this lovely layout I chose two of Yvonne's stamps. Both are available at Impression Obsession Stamps HERE. Click on picture to take you to the stamps shown specifically.

First I prepared the journal pages with white gesso and let dry.

Next I used A stencil by Art Anthology "Bubbles" and embossing ink to create the circles. First placed on left and embossing ink was applied thru stencil. Then I used an irridescent blue embossing powder and heat activated, This leaves some of the ink on stencil, flip over and rub on to right side. repeat the embossing powder.

These are closer views for you to see the technique.
Next stamp flower stamp randomly in the middle of both pages at the bottom using black archival ink. Make sure to continue stamping until nothing shows before re-inking stamp. This will create a more fade-out look.

Next, I took my wooden fairy embellishment and applied Art Anthology medium paint with a sponge to one side fairly thick. This was then used to stamp on the page on right side and set aside to dry.
Next, I added many various sprays and watercolors in shades of blue, pink, purple, and turquoise, mixing with small sprays of water and drying between colors with a heat tool. (light to dark)
To finish up I added some splattering of white acrylic paint and the amazing sentiment stamped onto color-coordinated cardstock!
I hope that you enjoyed my post!
