Time for Love Hanging Card - Blank Page Muse Stamps
Hello! Today I want to share my hanging valentine created for Blank Page Muse Stamps!
I wanted to create a valentine that wasn't just a card so why not one that can hang on the wall?
The Blank Page Muse Stamps theme for the February challenge is blue hearts/Time. For all the details and to enter the monthly challenge click the banner below! Here you will find all the inspiration from the entire Blank Page Muse team as well!
Blank Page Muse Stamps Used:
Other Supplies Used:
Chipboard
Cardstock
DecoArt Modeling Paste
DecoArt Fluid Acrylic Cobalt Blue Hue
Clear embossing powder
Heat Gun
Adhesive
Flowers
Pearlizing Medium
Art Anthology Minx ink Stargazer
Tim Holtz Chit Chat Stickers
TCW Stencil
Palette knife
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Rusty Hinge
Black Archival ink pad
Blue ribbon
Hot Glue gun
This is a fairly simple project that can be created in these few steps below.
Start by stamping images with black archival ink onto cardstock. Coat with clear embossing powder and heat set them. For this project, I used the large image stamp above and the smallest one in the set.
Using a sponge applicator, lightly brush over images with Distress Ink in Rusty Hinge color. Set them aside to fully dry.
Onto the heart base...
Cut a heart from chipboard. Use the same stencil as a guide to cut out the proper size.
On the backside of chipboard heart, use hot glue to add ribbon for a hanger. Cover glue with a punched out piece of heavy cardstock as shown.
Mix some blue acrylic paint into the modeling paste on a palette. Apply the mixture through stencil onto cardstock. Add some splatters of blue minx ink and dry. Use adhesive to adhere the cardstock heart to the cardboard base. Add the sentiment using chit chat stickers.
Adhere the largest stamped image to the heart and then the smaller one with foam dots to raise it up for a dimensional effect. Add flowers around the stamped images.
Thanks so much for viewing my post today! Please join us on the blog for our monthly challenge! Good luck and happy crafting!

Graphic 45 Raining Cats & Dogs Valentine
Hello and Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!!
As a major lover of all things Graphic 45, I have created a card using one of my all-time favorite collections, Raining Cats & Dogs!
As a major lover of all things Graphic 45, I have created a card using one of my all-time favorite collections, Raining Cats & Dogs!
For my card I used the following:
Graphic 45 Raining Cats & Dogs
6X6 Patterns & Solids
12x12 Paper Pack
Journaling and Ephemera Cards
Banners Pack
Chipboard Pack
Others:
Cardstock in aqua and rust colors
Black and white gingham ribbon
Aqua flowers
Aqua stick-on pearls
Adhesive
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - rusty hinge
Black card base 5 X6.5
Xyron Mega Runner Tape Gun
Xyron tape runners
Xyron tape runners
Glue stick
Hot glue gun
All of the parts cut and laid out for assembly.
All paper edges were lightly distressed with a paper distressing tool and then dyed using Distress Ink in rusty hinge. All pieces were layered and adhered to the card base with mega runner gun. The focal ephemera card (girl with puppy) I adhered to rust cardstock using my Xyron create-a-sticker machine (if you do not have this machine you can also use another adhesive such as a glue stick) and then foam squares to the back for dimension. The "Love is a four-legged word" oval chipboard also adhered with foam squares. Flowers and ribbon were adhered using hot glue.
For the inside, I adhered paper layers with mega runner gun. The lucky dog stamp was cut from the Mr. Whiskers page in the 12x12 paper pack.
I created this card for the challenge at Frilly and Funkie - All you need is love theme
They have a new challenge every month! Click the banner for all the information and check out the beautiful inspiration created by their design team too!
Thanks again for visiting my blog today!
Until next time happy crafting!!
