CC3 Challenge #26

Yet another fun challenge based off the wonderful Tim Holtz techniques showcased in his book  A Compendium of Curiosities!
CC3 #26

I used the following Distress Inks:
Tumbled Glass
Walnut Stain
Vintage Photo
Antique Linen
Peacock Feathers- combined with water and Tumbled Glass to get that lighter transparent blue.
Other Products Used: Glossy Accents, Pearl embellies from stash, Recollections paper florals, stencil and various stamps.
This was such a fun challenge and I absolutely love the way this turned out!!

Challenge 26 is all about technique: Smudge Stamping. This is such a classic “Tim Look,” and it’s an easy and quick way to grunge up any project. Open up your copy of A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol.3 to page 42 and get the deets.

The Funkie Junkie Boutique is back to sponsor Challenge 26, and the delightful Linda Coughlin, THE Funkie Junkie, has a fabulous $25 shopping spree to one very lucky CC3Cer! For a chance to win that shopping spree, link your project here and link to The Funkie Junkie Boutique in your blog post!
I decided it does suit the Frilly and Funkie challenge as well so I have now entered there as well because I really love this tag!

  2. Great tag, Jenn! Love the balance in your collage. The framed face really draws your eye there and makes you wondering what she's thinking about. Probably Paris and her last trip there and all that the key unlocked..... Fun!! Thanks for sharing this on CC3C!

  6. Hi Jenn....oh my goodness! I am in LOVE! This is such a beautiful tag! I agree with Annette..."fabulously French"! I adore the soft, almost muted colors you used in your background. I adore blues/teals and browns together so naturally, I was completely drawn to your tag. I love the placement of your stamps and great job on the smudge stamping technique. The added dimensional frame, the stamped bird and the sweet flowers really and totally complete your tag! Thanks for sharing with us at CC3C. <3 Candy
