Dream Box...CC3 Challenge #31

Time for challenge 31!! Time is flying! To enter your creation based off the amazing Tim Holtz techniques in Compendium of Curiosities 3 head over to the CC3C site! As always they have some great prizes to award. You need to get the book and turn to page 47 for this installment.

Here is my creation...I started with a Cigar box............ painted in Broken China Distress Paint.
I prepared a piece of card stock for each side and top using the technique on page 47.

I added various stamps and quotes to each side and some water colored stamped cut outs of Dyan Reaveley collection..(another fave of mine..)
I alcohol inked (stream) on an acrylic top and added as a lid
The word Dream is done with Tim's alpha parts..
Below is a picture of each of the whimsical sides of my Dream Box!

This challenge is sponsored by http://www.inspirationemporium.com/ who will be giving away this fabulous $50 gift certificate to one lucky person! Feel free to click the picture and start shopping now! They have great stuff!

  1. Jenn...thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! You will have so much fun altering just cheap little paper children's books. They are pretty quick and because they don't have a lot of pages, you don't have to go through the hassle of gluing pages together.
Your altered cigar box is beautiful. Each side is such a colorful display of this fun layering stencil technique. Great job! I love the altered cigar box idea. Thank so sharing with us at CC3C.
